What is the Zarges Color Wrap?
The Zarges Color Wrap is an exciting DIY product designed to elevate the appearance of your cases with a touch of personal flair. Made from high-quality vinyl, this easy-to-use wrap kit includes two custom-cut vinyl sheets, a comprehensive application tool set, and a spray bottle of vinyl adhesive to ensure a smooth application process. This high-grade vinyl is engineered to withstand outdoor conditions for up to six years, ensuring long-lasting durability and vibrant appearance. Available in a range of stylish colors, including Matte Burgundy, Matte Dark Blue, Matte White, Matte Black, Beige, and Glossy Black, the Color Wrap™ allows you to transform your cases to match your aesthetic or brand perfectly.
How to Apply the DIY Zarges Color Wrap
- Thoroughly clean your case with the provided Rapid Tac before installing the color panels. Spray the case and wipe it down, making sure there is no dirt or debris on the case.
- Once the case is clean, remove the backing of the first vinyl wrap panel (panels can be installed in any order).
- Then spray the adhesive side of the vinyl wrap with a generous amount of Rapid Tac. Set this piece aside.
- Next, spray Rapid Tac on the part of the case to which you are applying the vinyl. Now you are able to apply the wrap to the case.
- Carefully align the vinyl wrap with the section of the case you are wrapping (adhesive side down). The Rapid Tac will allow you to reposition the vinyl wrap until you are satisfied with its alignment.
- Begin to push the air bubbles out from the middle of the vinyl wrap with your hands and squeegee. Work the bubbles out from the wrap to the outer edges. Once you get all the air bubbles out, you can repeat the process with the other vinyl wrap panel to the side of the case.
- You will notice there are air bubbles around the Zarges logo on the case. You can resolve this by using your squeegee to press all the way around the logo, pushing the edges of the wrap to conform to the logo.
- Any remaining air bubbles may be punched out with the provided knife to allow the air to escape. Once this is accomplished, you can squeeze out any remaining air (use fingers or small squeegee). A hair dryer can be used to heat up the vinyl so it is more pliable to work the vinyl into the crevices of the logo. You can do this until you are satisfied with the results.
