Film crew on location wheeling a ZARGES case past a classic car during a shoot
On Screen & Behind the Scenes

HOLLYWOOD'S
ALUMINUM CASE OF CHOICE.

The distinctive brushed-aluminum look has made ZARGES cases a recurring prop on film sets for decades. Real cases, real productions — this page is the receipts.

Every time a handsome hero loads gear into a sleek aluminum case on a truck bed, there's a decent chance you're looking at a ZARGES. They've been the cash cases in the James Bond films Casino Royale and Die Another Day, rebranded with the Umbrella Corporation logo in the original Resident Evil (2002), stacked in the freight car in The Da Vinci Code (2006), loaded in the hangar in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), and reimagined as the "Stark Industries" case that unfolds into a bar during the Jericho missile demo in Iron Man (2008).

Off screen, they're arguably even more common — production crews rely on the same cases to protect cameras, lenses, and sound gear on location, for exactly the reasons professional photographers do.
