Equipment Protection

SECURE TRANSPORT FOR
SENSITIVE EQUIPMENT.

Sensitive equipment — optics, electronics, lab instruments, medical devices, and calibrated tools — needs protection from four things in transit: physical shock, moisture and dust ingress, electromagnetic interference, and temperature swings. ZARGES aluminum cases are engineered against all four: IP54–IP67 sealing, custom foam-cut interiors that isolate equipment from shock and vibration, optional EMI shielding to >60dB, and a tested range of −65°F to +176°F.

Understanding the Risk

WHAT MAKES EQUIPMENT "SENSITIVE" IN TRANSIT

Equipment is sensitive when a single bad transit event — a drop, a moisture leak, a stray electromagnetic field, or a temperature spike — can throw off a calibration, corrupt a sensor, or disable the unit outright. Optics lose alignment. Lab instruments lose calibration. Electronics absorb interference or condensation. Standard foam-in-a-box packaging isn't built to stop any of these; a purpose-engineered case has to address all of them at once.

The Engineering

HOW ZARGES CASES PROTECT IT

Impact & Vibration

Custom interiors — pick-n-pluck foam or patented KOR Technik VRS® panels — isolate equipment from shock and vibration, so instruments arrive calibrated and optics arrive aligned.

Moisture & Dust

IP54 sealing as standard, with an IP65 sealing option (dust-tight, jetting water) and IP67 variants (dust-tight, submersible to 1m for 30 min) for equipment that can't tolerate ingress.

Electromagnetic Interference

Optional EMI shielding to >60dB across 150kHz–18GHz on the K475 series, converting the case into a Faraday cage for electronics sensitive to interference or data compromise.

Temperature Extremes

Tested from −65°F to +176°F, the cases keep calibrated instruments and batteries within spec through cargo holds, desert tarmac, and arctic storage.
